The wonders of the curriculum

Local curriculum is driven by several components: The NZ curriculum, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, School and community, iwi and whānau, the students, the teachers, people’s values and beliefs and the local contexts available to learn through. It is the thinking and shaping of these components that makes up a local curriculum.

We can help you on the journey of developing your thinking, consulting with your community,  developing with your Board and designing a final document that captures the visions and intent of the local curriculum in your school.
